Language is a system using which we can communicate with one another. Later it slowly became a community, a brand or a tag. Now we have states as well. Fine and fair enough till this point.
Recently i watched a talk show in which a guy emotionally spoke that he has a solution to solve the problem in SriLanka. I sharpened my ears. He said " The problem will be resolved if all the tamilians living in Srilanka give a written assurance that they will not speak tamil there after and speak only singalam". Man he bowled me out. How true? Fighting a never ending battle which started almost half a century ago, is that for a language?
Is it that important to hold that language even after sacrificing their kids, family members, friends and relatives? Yes, its not about the language. Its more than that its fighting for the rights to speak in their own language. Its like why should i give up my rights for the sake of someone. Quite understandable.
On the other hand, Why do people refuse to get what they deserve just b'cos they speak a different language? Can someone be killed for that? Well I don't have an answer. Patriotism towards language was smartly used politically and it all started here. Even UN's effort in solving this is in vain. Not sure if it is United Nations or Useless Nations. We can only wait and hope that it should get resolved. People involved should realize it themselves. But no point in expecting someone to think good when they don't event have the ability to think.

What to name it ????
We are not new to forwarded mails teasing/commenting/insulting English in China. After reading those mails, we laugh and make fun of it. I have done all these. Does that mean we are better than China atleast in english? I doubt it really? I believe we are standing next to them not just in population but also in the standard of english. Check these
1) In guwahati express , 1 particular warning board was saying " Pull the chain to stop the chain "
2) In Chennai , in 1 of the bus stand , it was written "No Barking" instead of "No Parking"
3)In Punjab/Haryana in 1 of the Vehicle Tax paying Area it was written "Pay Road Tax Hear"
Unfortunately I dont have the snaps of the first two.And the interesting part is, all the 3 mistakes i have mentioned here are done in Govt dept. Only 3 ? I have seen/heard of only these 3. There may or may not be many such mistakes.
Whom to be blamed for these kinda things ? Public like me who see this and dono where to complaint or the people who is responsible for writing this wrongly or the respective dept., which was suppose to monitor this or improper education to all or the people who give such contracts to uneducated people. I really dont have an answer for this. Spelling mistakes are common to all it doesnt matter whether you are educated or not. All my blogs have it. The actual mistake is on the governing body and we need a place where we can raise such issues. May be a place is there already but people are unaware of it . A system which is unaware doesnt solve the purpose. If anyone of you is aware of a place please raise this and i can help if it is needed.
I dont want somebody else to pin point our mistakes, lets be the first to accept it and correct it.Cheers

Scope of improvement
Couple of months ago, my mom came up with a match box, showed it to me and said, "this match box will glow in dark if some light falls on it". I checked it and found that she was right. The match box had its maker's name written in such a way that it glitters in the dark when rays of light fall on it. Its actually easier to grab that match box when it is dark. I was really impressed with that. May be its been there for a while, i noticed it just recently. May be they are in the initial stage and they are in the process of developing it. We are not new to radium stickers, i was playing with it when i was young but the very thought to bring the concept of radium in a match box is an innovation according to me. Though its a very small thing that was done, the actual difference is why was it not done so far and why no one thought of this. The man behind it really deserves a special praise i would say, whoever it may be. The very concept is there is A/C remotes as well.
Few years back if someone have given a match box to me and said innovate something in it, i would have looked at it for days and would have asked so many questions and would have given it back saying nothing can be innovated in it. But there was something that was innovated from it. I really see this as a motivating thing. Its not that someone has done something to me directly but looking into it, i have learn t "there is a scope of improvement " in everything that you come across. All we have to do is to look at it with a open mind.

My Friends
My biggest asset in life has been my friends. What special? What difference? Everyone has friends. I don't have an answer really. Is it because they have seen me through all my happiness and sorrows? Is it because they are the most funniest people i have seen, who can make me laugh anytime? Is it because we share all our thought without any secrets? Is it because they take me to treat often? Well i need to think. What makes them so special ?
I believe its the unconditional love that we have on each other. We are not expressive rather we don't want to be expressive.Certain things in life goes without saying. And one such thing is this. Whatever am today its because of them. They are my support and they are my critic. Starting from school be it my record note book, be it my exam results, be it my college studies, be it my resume, be it my dress i wear today anyone/few of my friend(s) is/are behind it. We have been together for years now lots of fights, lots of emotions, lot of misunderstandings and we all have come a long way together. We have seen through all the tough times. Let me recollect few nice memories
Dewali celebrations : This should say one of the best celebrated festive among us.Crackers will be all over us, it will be more than a Kargil war.
Shopping : Minimum 6-8 guys has to go for shopping, let it be blazer or be it jockey
Long tours : We never plan it properly and may be thats why we go on tours often. Come on a Thursday evening say its been long time we have gone out and Friday you are some where out of the city. Not to forget the memories that we carry with each tour.
Group messages: Conference messaging in phone.
Useless talks : Thats so common i should say we have been talking about same things repeatedly for years and believe me we have never got bored of them .
I have added just few may be my friends may add up few more if they have time to read this and reply this .
We have our own style, own community, own thoughts that lot many can't understand that but we don't mind and we don't care
I was talking about a smaller group of friends but really i have been gifted with lot more and i have something to say to all of them
"I would like to thank all my friends who have come across in my life at various stages and some have been just passers and some have been there for while and some ever lasting lovable ones. Thanks all for being in my life.Love you all"
